About Nina

Originally from California, Nina Rowan is a multi-published author who writes vivid, sensual novels that draw on provocative historical events. Her latest completed manuscripts are set during the French Revolution and the 17th century Dutch tulip craze. She is currently working on a series set in Victorian London.

Written under the pseudonym Natasha Rostova, her first novel, The Captivation, was one of Black Lace's bestselling titles. She has written several other novels for Black Lace/Virgin Publishing, Chimera Publishing, and Carroll and Graf, and her short stories have appeared in Travel Erotica Tales and Best Women's Erotica.

Nina holds a PhD in Art History with a specialization in late-19th and early-20th century French and Russian art. She also has an MA in Library and Information Sciences, which essentially means she loves the theories of organization—even if she doesn't always put them into practice. She lives in Wisconsin with her atmospheric scientist husband and two children.
